Matthew has worked on many community music ventures throughout Scotland including the Harrow Terrace Music Group which he instigated and runs for children in his home town of Wick. He also runs the choir in Oakgrove Primary School and assists with the Spirit of Life Junior Choir and the choristers of Paisley Abbey. Matthew has a passion for serving children in a social as well as musical context. He now works to assist Shelly Coyne with the Gorbals Children's Choir which is part of the hugely successful project: Givin' it Laldie. He has a track record of training and work with Scripture Union Scotland including his work as a group leader and archery coach on the more challenging Motiv8 camps for urban children. Matthew, not surprisingly, has a passion for teaching children to sing and is a firm believer in the empowering benefits of music.
